Life Is Too Short . . . To Not Have A Plan

Consumer Benefits

What is the Planning for Life Expo?

It's an all-day event featuring exhibitor booths, educational seminars, and a kids zone. The expo is conveniently located near the Geauga Lake amusement park just east of Solon, in Cleveland's east suburbs. At no cost for attendance or parking, this is a perfect opportunity to attend to important planning that you've been putting off.

Should we bring the whole family?

Absolutely. There are free activities for the kids! And it's a great opportunity to introduce older children to the important responsibilities they have to consider (not so far in the future) as they become adults. Teens and college-age adults can't do better for getting a jump on college and career planning, opening checking accounts, attending to insurance, and yes, even thinking about retirement.

Is this new?

This is the first year for the Expo--and it's unique. Never before has there been one place where you can spend the day getting professional advice in so many areas of life planning--and all for free! And you won't feel overwhelmed at the Planning For Life Expo; our exhibitors are experts at helping you plan for retirement, college, child rearing, home purchases, estate planning, and more. Plus, we have divided the show by four age divisions so that you can focus on the life decisions that affect you now.

How does it work?

When you enter the Planning For Life Expo, you will receive a form that matches your current age range. This will list typical concerns for your age and indicates which seminars and booths you will want to see. Then, based on your age, start to PLAN AHEAD--to achieve your life goals! Attend a seminar, receive valuable advice for planning for the future, and then meet the professionals who can help you follow through on your plans. Planning For Life Expo exhibitors are prepared to advise and provide answers.

Plus, attend the Expo and you can sign up for the My Life Plan email service to receive ongoing reminders at critical stages of life as you and your children grow older. My Life Plan will keep you in touch with resources for life planning. From as simple a task as what to look for when opening a bank account to something as complicated as estate planning . . . from the joy of planning for a new birth in the family to being well prepared for stressful end of life decisions. You've just discovered the best way to keep up with everything you need to plan for life.
